About Us
Gower Meadow Beef is produced by us, the Douglas family from our mixed herd of Welsh Black and Dexter cattle.
From our small family farm in Penmaen, in the heart of Gower, we aim to produce happy and healthy cattle, whilst also caring for the wildlife on the farm.

We have a small herd of Welsh Black and Dexter cattle, native breeds that are known for their hardiness and ability to do well in inclement Welsh weather!
The cattle are raised entirely on grass and enjoy a peaceful life grazing the native wildflower meadows of the farm and other nature reserves, including the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales Overton Mere Nature Reserve and the fens at Oxwich Bay, managed by Natural Resources Wales.
